AFT KY 1360 has been busy. Most of it has been backend duties to re-establish ourselves with members and upgrade our technology and communication methods. We now have the footing to step into the 24 - 25 academic year more active and stronger than ever! Here are some of the accomplishments (large and small) that we want our members to be aware of.

Discussion, no vote on bill mandating how academics in Kentucky would be evaluated

The Kentucky House Education Committee discussed but did not vote on a bill Tuesday that would allow public universities and colleges to remove faculty who fall short of “productivity requirements.”
