The American Federation of Teachers KY Local 1360 is pleased to announce that we are awarding two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships to members or family of members (see eligibility), applicable to any post-secondary institution. Scholarship awards must be used during the 26/27 academic year and can only be applied toward qualified education expenses per the IRS (e.g., tuition, fees, books, required equipment).

Steward Assistance

Members are entitled to information and assistance with professional and legal rights on the job. If you are member of AFT KY 1360 and need help with open records requests, an appeal on personnel issues, third-party arbitration, or if you think that your legal rights have been violated, contact the Executive Director or Union Steward.

Professional Liability Coverage

The AFT provides up to one million dollars in professional liability coverage for each member. If you are sued while performing your job and your employer will not provide legal defense, you’re covered with AFT!
